Tyler Perry has done it again
Story
Two women with contrasting lives connect. One is fighting for survival after her mother kicks her out while the other runs a successful business. Another misogynistic take on black women, another terrible show with bad acting and demeaning plots.
Is it just greed?
Is Tyler Perry trying to show the Hollywood elite that he has something meaningful to say? If so, he has failed miserably. I have to say that I have been looking forward to Mr.
Perry’s new entertainment
Lately, I have been increasingly disappointed. The profanity, the nudity, the misogyny from the very beginning. I tried because it seemed like it might get a little interesting.
Come on Mr
However, I just couldn’t keep watching. Perry, I know you can do better. We are more than pimps, strippers, hustlers, criminals and bad actors.
Their stories need to be told and can be interesting too
Tell the stories of the Black people I know, the nurses, the doctors, the honest business owners, the hard working mothers and fathers who do everything they can to protect and raise their families.
