Story
Hippo, a peculiar teenager and his Hungarian stepsister Buttercup struggle to come of age in late 1990s America, at least once under the roof of an institutionalized mother.. I saw this at the Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal, and I can just say, I loved this movie love I feel so lucky to be one of the first people to see it because it’s truly jaw-dropping.
The performance of the entire cast is beyond belief
The entire audience loved this film at Fantasia, clapping, laughing and bewildered/delighted to a sold out theatre. It really is a fantastic wild ride of a movie that you won’t regret watching.
This movie is truly a unique gem that I hope everyone sees
There is no doubt in my mind that this film will go places and Mark will have an amazing career if he chooses to continue his creative voice, tone and style. It’s really great, one of the best movies I’ve seen in years.
I’m afraid of how much I love it
I really feel this movie is going to make a lot of stars. Please if you get a chance to watch it – go and watch it you won’t regret it.
